FUNERAL OF FRANK M. BLOOMHUFF

The body of Frank M. Bloomhuff, 82, a former resident of Emporia, who died March 3 at Puyallup, Wash., arrived in Emporia Saturday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock and was taken to Maplewood Cemetery for interment. Rev. O. M. Showalter, pastor of the First Baptist Church, conducted the services at the cemetery.

Frank M. Bloomhuff was born at Fort Wayne, Ind., October 30, 1846, and came to Emporia in 1876. He lived in Emporia until 15 years ago, when he moved to Plummer, Idaho, and later he moved to Puyallup. Mr. Bloomhuff is survived by two children, Frank M. Bloomhuff, Jr., of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Clara Mogg, of Puyallup, Wash.; one granddaughter, Miss Catherine Bloomhuff, of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Clara Dorr, of Emporia, and a brother, Charles Bloomhuff, of Chicago. Mr. Bloomhuff was an uncle of Mrs. E. C. Glaze, 24 South West Street. Mr. Bloomhuff served during the Civil War in Company E, 142nd Indiana Infantry, and was a member of the G.A.R.
