On the 12th inst departed this life, Mrs GLORIANE COWLES, wife of the Rev Whitefield Cowles of Granby, in the 28th year of her age, after a long decline. She endured her distress with great patience, and Christian meekness. She was blessed with a polished education and possess of amiable accomplishments and closed life with a pleasing hope of a glorious immortality, trusting in the alone merits of the divine Redeemer. She has left a disconsolate husband and two young children to mourn their loss. She lived much esteemed and died much lamented. Her remains were interred on Wednesday, a numerous concourse of people attended, and a well adapted discourse was delivered on the mournful occasion by the Rev Doctor Perkins of Hartford.
