Elmo Ray Nash, 75, passed away at his residence in Phippsburg on Sept 19, 1985. Services, conducted by Master Bob Gilbert, were held in the Oak Creek masonic Hall on Monday Sept. 23.
Interment was in the Oak Creek Cemetery.
Lila Rider, soloist, was accompanied on piano by Francis Gneiser for “In the Garden” and “How Great Thou Art”
Pallbearer’s were Joe Lewis, Mark Williams, Blaine Whaley, Jess Lewis, Leo Saindon and Ray Iacovetto.
The son of Lee O. Nash and Ada Justis Nash, he was born on March 6, 1910 in Cambridge, Neb. Elmo was a retired railroad agent and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks, and Oak Creek Lodge 167 AF& A.M. He married Zelma Green on March 5, 1933 in Denver.
Elmo is survived by his wife, two sons, Irvin Nash of Oak Creek and Martin Nash of Phippsburg and one grandchild.
