Peggy was a homemaker, former licensed beautician and previously worked at RCA for many years. She attended Jalapa Chapel. She enjoyed bowling at Plaza Bowl and Crest Lanes, camping at Wildwood Acres and fishing with Paul. Peggy loved spending time with her grandkids and was a Colts and IU fan.
Survivors include daughters, Becky Jo (Billy) Peterson, Converse, Vickie (James) McDowell, Marion; son, Steven (Gigi Allen) Stairs, Wabash; stepson, Paul (Rose) Stairs, Jr., Kemp, Texas; brothers, Max Bedwell, Dunkirk, James (June) Bedwell, Sevierville, Tenn., Dexter (Bonnie) Bedwell, Marion; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Bedwell and sister, Nona Olive Volz.
