FORMER FULTON LEGISLATOR DIES: Hon. Clarence R. Akers, former member of the State Legislature from Fulton county, died at his home in Akersville on Tuesday, December 29 [1936 - ed]. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Akersville Methodist church. Interment was in the Akersville cemetery. Mr. Akers was elected to represent Fulton county in the Pennsylvania General Assembly for the term of 1910-11. He was born in Akersville on November 10, 1874, the son of Henry C. and Ann (Whitfield) Akers. One sister, Mrs. S.E. Walters, of Akersville, survives.
