Story has it that Frank was born at West Point but no proof. Frank was in the Illinois National Guard, 108th C Engrs enlisted June 6, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois with discharge June 5, 1935 end of enlistment. Worked as a switchman for the railroad from age of 15 yrs old after his father died til he retired May 22, 1965. Moved to Cobh, Ireland in the 1960's then moved to Maidstone, Kent Co, England where his wife was raised. He moved back to the USA Illinois just prior to his wife's death in 1968.
