Funeral services were held in Afton Second-Third Ward Chapel Wednesday afternoon for a former resident, Hannah Luella Wilkes Blacker, 88, of Pocatello Idaho, who died Sunday in a Pocatello hospital of natural causes. Burial was in the Afton Cemetery. She was born Oct 15, 1874 at Ogden Utah to Orille R. and Sarah Urrinda Rawson Child. She married John Danna Wilkes Oct 17, 1895 in the Logan Temple. He died March 11, 1905 at Afton, where they made their home.
She later married Thomas Blacker, June 21 1948 in the Idaho Falls Temple. He died March 28, 1957.
Survivors include, Mrs Julia Ann Carlquist, Pocatello; stepchildren, LeRoy, Loyn, Alma, Verl, Earl Blacker, all of Rupert, Idaho; George blacker Idaho Falls; Fred Blacker, Brigham City Utah; Afton Hatch, Mrs Marintha Garner, Mrs Marie Green all of Rupert, Idaho; 3 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Earlier funeral services were conducted at the Manning funeral Chapel in Pocatello, Wednesday.
