Roselie Virginia Borycz of Caseville, Michigan, entered eternal life on Friday, September 17, 2010 in Warren, Michigan. She was born on October 11, 1918 in Gary, Indiana. She was 91 years old.

Known more affectionately as "Roza" to her husband and soulmate, Edmund, the two were blessed to have shared over 70 years of marriage. Together, they knew the joys of building a loving relationship, raising and nurturing a family, and creating a home where all were welcome. She loved spending time with family and friends, and her most precious spot to enjoy their company was always on the deck at her home in Caseville. The deck was her sanctuary, a place where she could truly enjoy the optimum in relaxation and nature.

Enjoying nature took on another form of pleasure for Roselie as she loved picking blueberries and mushrooms. Other pastimes she enjoyed were reading, playing cards, and watching the Food Network. Cooking was a huge passion of Roselie's, and hers was hard to beat, especially when it came to her polish dishes. She was also quite proficient when it came to baking. In her earlier years, Roselie was renown for the meticulous work and artistry she poured into the many wedding cakes that she produced. They were always something for the eyes to behold and a meaningful centerpiece for many-a-beautiful wedding ceremony.

When it came to having fun in the arms of her Edmund, the two were always a joy to watch on the dance floor. Together, they could cut-a-rug with the best of the dancers. They truly enjoyed being enthralled in each other's embrace while swirling around to the beat of her favorite, the Polka!

Known by many and loved by all, Roselie's family donned her the "Queen of Hospitality," a title she duly deserved for the warmth and welcome mat that was always laid out for the many who passed through her life. A consummate caregiver, she possessed a unique and compassionate gift of making everyone feel at home. She will be missed immensely and remembered eternally.

Beloved wife of Edmund; Dear mother of Rev. Fr. Edmund, Gerald (Lee), and Marilyn (and the late Donald) Boomer; Loving grandmother of Shari, Jeff, Ken, Kevin, Kari, and Dr, John. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Sister of Stella Ratusznik.
