PRAUSA

Charles Prausa, 80, formerly of 1114 Madison St., Two Rivers, a retired longtime department head at Mirro Aluminum Co., Plant 1, and had been residing at Rt. 3, Markesan, the past 13 years, died Tuesday night at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Michael Koch officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Prausa was born Aug. 5, 1892, at Oconto Falls, son of the late George and Rose Teteak Prausa. He came to Two Rivers in 1912 where he married Laura Pupeter in 1914. She preceded him in death in 1949.

Mr. Prausa was a longtime Mirro Aluminum Co., employe and served as a department head for many years until he retired 15 years ago. He was a member of St. Luke Court No. 1637, Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include six sisters, Mrs. Carol Ann Bartz, of Oconto Falls, Mrs. Bessie Steffel, of Spruce, Mrs. Rose Smith and Mrs. Mae Wilson, of Milwaukee, Mrs. Elmer Hansen, of Two Rivers and Mrs. Ruby Meyer, of Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Henry, of Two Rivers, Robert, of Texas and Fred, of Oregon, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 4 o'clock this Thursday afternoon where memorial services will be at 7:30 o'clock.
