Zoe's parents died early in Pawnee Co, Kansas so she and her siblings were raised by grandparents and relatives. In 1905 Zoe married Eric G Osen, a minister, and they had 2 children, Allene Margaret and Harold S. Her husband Eric died at a young age in 1918 (WWI in France). Zoe was residing in Lyons, KS on the 1920 and 1925 census and by 1930 they were living in Winfield, Cowley Co, Kansas. Zoe later married Jesse O Coombs, her brother-in-law, in 1954.
