Our beloved 'Baby' was Old Grandma Gertrude Wehnert's last pet. He was there for Grandma during the good times and the bad. He just showed up at the Farm one day and of course Old Grandma took him in. He was her constant and loving companion.
After we lost Old Grandma (Jan 1993), Baby went to live with Bob & Liz, where Bob renamed him Sylvester. (but we always called him Baby anyway).
After we lost Bob in 2002, Liz was overwhelmed with grief and could no longer care for Baby in his aging state so she brought him to me and I took him over to Ryon's house where little Bryce formed an immediately attachment. Baby spent his last days there, in The Original House of Love where he was loved by all and will be forever missed.
