LYONS - John C. Lantow, 79, died Thursday at Lyons District Hospital. Born May 16, 1894, at Lyons, he married Elizabeth Wiggins, Oct. 16, 1919, at Lyons. She died Nov. 25, 1970. He was a carpenter and lifetime resident

He was a member of the First Christian Church, Lyons; American Legion.
Survivors are a daughter: Mrs. Bill Ross, Pico Rivera, Calif.; two grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Crawford-Miller Mortuary, Lyons; Rev. Clayton Hildebrand. Burial will be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. until service time Monday at the mortuary.
