Olive Porter (Fitzsimmons) Drollett, 93 years of age, entered Life Eternal at her home in Plymouth peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 2010 surrounded by her loving and caring family members. She was born in Braintree and resided in Braintree for fifty-four years before moving to Wareham where she resided from 1970 to 2005 them moving to Plymouth. While residing in Wareham she was an Assistant Clerk at the Wareham District Court for twenty years. In earlier years she worked at the Spencer Shoe Company in Boston and also was employed by the Chapman Manufacturing Company both in Braintree and Avon. Olive was an avid sports fan who loved the Celtics and the Red Sox. While residing in Wareham she was active in the Senior Center in Wareham She loved bingo. She was a graduate of Braintree High School. She was the wife of the late Albert A. Drollett who died in 1972. She is the devoted mother of Albert A. Drollett married to Betty Drollett of Carver, Olive O. Nicolas married to William Nicolas of Bridgewater, Frank P. Drollett married to Priscilla Drollett of Plymouth with whom she made her home, James R. Drollett married to Pamela Drollett of Wareham and Paul L. Drollett of Wareham. She is the loving sister of Evelyn Barter of Arlington and Corinne Hokenson of Quincy. She was the sister of the late Priscilla Waldron of Wareham, James Fitzsimmons, Mae Blute, Cecilia Louder and Ann Casland. She is survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, South Braintree Square on Wednesday, September 22 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours are omitted. Memorial donations may be sent to the Jimmy Fund, 315 Longwood Avenue, Boston, Mass. 02215-5395. Arrangements by the Mortimer N.
