Most of what I know about John Edward has been pieced together and though likely, is not certain. He was the s/o a Joseph Chenoweth and Sarah Elizabeth Livesay. The marriage was short and Sarah remarried to Elija W. Arnold. In 1900 John was living with Sarah and Elija in Benton Co., AR. Joseph is believed to be Joseph Edwin Chenoweth who apparently went on to the Pacific Northwest and remarried Martha Anne Dyer. It appears that John Edward married 3 times, as judged by the Census and this find-a-grave memorial. first to Frankie Sanders, then Eva May Nation, and third to Nelle Audrey. With Frankie, John had a daughter Thelma. I do not know what happened to her. She was last seen in the 1920 Census in East Saint Louis, IL.
