Frank enlisted in the U S Army with his younger brother Ernie on 24 Feb. 1955 when he was 21 years old. He completed basic training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, where Frank was with Company M. Platoon 1, 335th Infantry Regiment. Frank served in Korea and was honorably discharged on 1 February 1958. (Service history added by Susan Towle Jarvis)
