Mr. Brooks was a longtime resident of Holliday and Iowa Park. He was a veteran of World War II and a self-employed reflexologist. He was a member of the Bricklayers union and of the Reflexology Association.

Survived by one daughter - Mary Ellen Bowman; three brothers - Bruce Brooks, Ray Brooks, Glenn Brooks; five sisters - Helen Jones, Opal Beaty, Rosalie Fagan, Mary Cochran, Virginia Bethany; one grandchild.
