Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, at the Elm Street Christian Church, with Dewey Thackston officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery east of Claremont. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday (today) at the Summers Funeral Home, and from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
Mr. Black was born on Aug. 26, 1944, in Manchester, N.H., to William Dale and Mabel (Brooks) Black. He married Mary Deischer.
He was employed at General Telephone in Olney. Mr. Black was a member of the Elm Street Christian Church and the Olney Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his mother; one daughter, Tina Louise Black of Olney; and one brother, James Black of Olney.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
