Per her death certificate, she died in Richland County (SC) near the unincorporated area called "Lykesland." The death certificate indicates her death: "9 miles Garner's Ferry Road," which is in fact towards lower Richland County.
She was buried the following day (Oct 29th) some distance away in the Gladden-Powell Cemetery, Fairfield County, on what is still known today as the Lykes tract. (See also cemetery description.)
(Previously, "Lykesland" and the "Lykes tract" were thought to be the same place, however the death certificate disproves that.)
