"Park C. Benjamin, a highly respected citizen of Burlington, died September 9th, at his farm home where he had lived for more than forty years. He had enjoyed exceptionally good health up to four days previous to his death when he was stricken with a paralytic shock. Deceased was born in New Lisbon, December 8, 1840, of New England parentage. His first wife was Sarah Town. Three children of that marriage survive: Claude of New Brighton, Camilla, who has tenderly cared for him in his declining years and Mrs. Ezra Bolton of Burlington. In 1879 he was married to Carrie Firman, who died eleven years ago, leaving five children, Lynn of Phoenix, Arizona, Cleon of Hartwick, Murray, Percy and Mildred of Burlington.
