Sallie Jane Hegwood Hawkins was the Granddaughter of
James Monroe Hegwood # 20739321 and Laura Marchant. She
was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Hegwood and Sarah Jane Fulgum.

She married Charles William Hawkins in Pelham, Ga. She was a member of the Baptist Church, Pelham, Ga. They moved to Athens, Ga., and then to Gainesville. She resided in Palmetto, Fla., from 1926 to 1938, when she moved to St. Petersburg, Fla.

Service 2pm Thurs, June 30,1949 at Edwards Funeral Home.

St. Petersburg officiated.

Two sisters:
Laura Hegwood (Mrs. Oscar Lowery) buried in Augusta, Ga.
Verter Hegwood # 57459873 (Mrs. Charlie Council.)

Sister-in-law of Golden Hegwood, 1st wife of her brother Wm Reoma Hegwood, both Verter and Golden are buried in the Gillette Cemetery.
