"WILLIAM W ACRIDGE

William Weber [Webber] Acridge, 80, Veneta, Ore., died there May 4. He was born Jan. 19, 1907 at Fort Scott [KS], the son of Fred and Mary Pyle Acridge. He married Thelma Pearl Headrick Oct. 15, 1829 at Fort Scott. He lived in the Fort Scott area 36 years before moving to Oregon in 1951.

Survivors include the wife [Thelma], of Veneta; four daughters, Loretta Morrell and Alice Tapp, both of Elmira, Ore,; Ruth Acridge, Richards, Mo.; and Sharon Carey, Umatilla, Ore.; two sons, William L. Acridge and Byron Acridge, both of Crow, Ore.; two brothers, Vern Acridge, Blue Hill, Neb., and Donald Acridge, Ft Worth, Texas; a sister, Mary Pitt, Yates Center, Kan., 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and a great-grandson.

Graveside services were held May 9 at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Eugene, Ore."
