Memorial service for Charles R. Boothe, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Boothe, who was a 26-year resident of Spokane, died Monday. He was born in Davenport, Wash.
He was a graduate of Washington State University. He worked in the state Auditor's Office for 30 years before retiring in 1974.
Mr. Boothe served in the Naval Reserves for more than 30 years. He flew PBM (Flying Catalinas) in Squadron VPB-17 in the South Pacific during World War II. He retired in 1977.
He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kiwanis, Shrine and Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dottie; two daughters, Barbara Brennan of Tacoma and Kathleen Blair of Redmond, Wash.; two sons, Charlie Boothe of Phoenix and Gary Boothe of Spokane; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
