Mary R. Beers, 81, of Allentown, Pa., died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in Luther Crest Health Care Center in Allentown.
She was the wife of Gerald L. Beers. The couple celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on April 7. Born in Maggie, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Adam and Ada (Morrison) Rickard. Prior to starting her family, she was employed at Headquarters Marine Corps in Washington D.C. as an administrative secretary.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Diane Johnson and husband Thomas, and Donna Keefer; brother, Donald Rickard; three grandchildren.
