OBIT:
C. P. Lively succumbs Late Saturday Evening

C.P. Lively who had been suffering for the past month with yellow jaundice, passed away at his home here about 11:30 Saturday evening, March 2, 1929.

Mr. lively with his family moved here from Johnstown, last fall and while he was not bed fast until about a month ago, he had never entirely recovered from a severe case of the flu several years ago. During the short time he lived in Thedford, he was found to be a very pleasant man to meet, and was always ready to discuss the topics of the day. The wife, his father, who yet survives, and the family have the sympathy of the community during this sad hour.
Funeral services were conducted at the auditorium by C. E. Thurmond at 10 o'clock Monday morning, Jno. M. Turner being in charge of the body. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery.
