Pauline Miller, 80, died Friday, December 20, in Kalispell.
She was born August 25, 1916 south of McWenneger Slough to Paul and Stella Walchli. She was an only child.
She graduated from Montford School and Flathead County High School. She worked 20 years as a bookkeeper for the Buick garage and then part-time for the Devonshire Motel. She retired in 1975.
On November 15, 1950, she married Walter Miller, who was an engineer on the Great Northern Railroad. They made their home in Whitefish. She enjoyed gardening, canning, flowers, and caring for the yard. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Kalispell, where she sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 1996.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Marguerite Dempsey, of Whitefish and two cousins.
