CISCO - Funeral for J. R. (Doc) Beene, 68, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rust-Martin-Rhyne Chapel with Gary Adams of Cisco Junior College officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Beene died at his home six miles south of Cisco.
Born Feb. 1, 1903, in Breckenridge, he had lived in Cisco 11 years, moving here from Snyder. he was a dairyman.
Survivors include his wife of Cisco; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Wooten of Bryan and Mrs. Lee Jennings of Lawn; a brother, Walter of Breckenridge; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
