Benjamin F. (Bennie) Ahlerich, 65, Route 1, Rock, Kansas, died at 1:05 p.m. at Nwton Memorial Hospital in Winfield, on Sunday, December 9, 1973.
He was born May 23, 1908 in Cowley County, the son of Henry and Minnie Ahlerich. He was married to Iris Houser in 1932. He lived in northern Cowley County all of his life. His present farm home is 1 1/2 miles north of Rock, where he engaged in dairy and wheat farming.
He was a member of the Rock Community Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Robert of Rock; one daughter, Mrs. Larry Jones, of Douglass; one brother Walter, Route 1, Winfield.
A memorial has been established in his name in H. L. Snyder Memorial Research Foundation.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. at the Morris Funeral Home in Winfield.
Burial in the Douglass Cemetery.
