Ebbing, 76, of 1716 Bateman St., Galesburg, IL died Friday, November 5, 2004 at 11:36 PM at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.She was born on July 21, 1928 in Galesburg, IL the daughter of Art and Beulah Trout Sholl. She married William L. Ebbing on March 21, 1959. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2001.
She is survived by one son, William L. Ebbing, Jr. of Galesburg, IL, one daughter, Susan Melton of Galesburg, IL , one brother, Elmer Sholl of Galesburg, IL, three sisters: Betty Bledsoe, Barbara Latmer, and Mary Mills, all of Galesburg, IL, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.She worked for Gale Products and was a waitress for Wong's Cafe and the Kozy Inn both in Galesburg, IL. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the Women of the Moose #115. Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with the Rev. David Amick officiating. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2004 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel. (http://www.h-p-w.com)
