RAYMOND P. HUFFORD, 66, of 893 William Penn Highway, Cresson, died Saturday, July 5, 1980, in his home.
He was born Sept. 5, 1913, in Portage, the son of Jacob W. and Clara S. (Noel) Hufford, and married Virginia Eberhart(sic).
Surviving are his wife, 12 children, Clara DeMearcle of Kenosha, Wis.; Michael of Killeen, Texas; Mrs. Dolores Lee and Mrs. Bernadette Byich of Cresson, Raymond, Charles and Joe of Portage, Mrs. Rose Borlie of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Louise Jasper and Gilbert of Gallitzin, Sam of Lilly and Patrick of Newark, Del.; 32 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three brothers, Walter and Russell of Smyrna, Del., and Charles of Altoona.
Mr. Hufford was a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society, Cresson Sportsmen's Club and Cresson Senior Citizens.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson.
HUFFORD -- The funeral of Raymond P. Hufford of Cresson will be held with a mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Aloysius' Catholic Church, Cresson, by the Rev. Paul Robine.
Interment in church cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. p.m. today in the Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, family requests mass offerings.
