Helen DuPre Moore, 93, formerly of 104 Maruca Drive, widow of William Carl Moore, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at Oakmont West Nursing Center.
Born in Winnsboro, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Fayssoux Steven and Eloise Elliott DuPre.
Mrs. Moore was retired from Meyers-Arnold, Uptons, and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia M. Laavy of Greenville, Helen Gail Coates of Charlotte, N.C., and Carole Bengard of Greenville; six grandchildren, Harold Michael Brickman, Patricia Kelley, Susan Brickman, Debra Mitchell, Hans David Bengard, and Jennifer Bengard Robinson; and a great-granddaughter, Erica Kelley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , Upstate SC Chapter, 114 E. Earle St., Anderson, SC 29621.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Sept. 27, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held before the services, from 10 to 10:45 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at their respective homes.
