NORMAN F. BULTEMEIER, 85, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Lutheran Hospital. He was born June 29, 1920 in Rea, Texas the son of Louis F. and Irma (Doehrman) Bultemeier. He was a member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post 43 of Decatur. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a machinist for Dana Corporation for 30 years, retiring in 1981.

Surviving are his wife, Bonnie J. (Martin) Bultemeier; two sons, Dave A. and Ronald L. (Janet) Bultemeier; a daughter, Nancy A. (Steve) Schneider, all of Fort Wayne; a brother, Richard Bultemeier of Hoagland; seven grandchildren, Natalie, Kelley, Adam, Jason (Gena), Paula, Kyle, Meghan; and two great-grandchildren, Kurtis and Greta.

He was preceded in death by brother, Vernon Bultemeier.

Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 California Road. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home 8325 Covington Road. Officaiating Rev. Richard Smith. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
