Mr. Stewart passed away April 13.
Mr. Stewart was born March 28 [1932] and was a native and life long resident of Cleburne County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Belzie Gay and Dock Washington Stewart; three sisters, Sahvanna Skinner, Lola Mae Stewart, and Myrtle Breed; and two step-grandsons, Jerry Lefaine Bejmowicz, Jr., and Craig Lee Atkisson.
Survivors include his wife, Ada L. (Miller) Atkisson-Bejmowicz-Stewart; three [step]sons, Bradford Gary Atkisson of Heflin, Jerry Lefaine Bejmowicz of Tallapoosa, Ga., and Terry Lane Atkisson of Gulfport, MS.; five sisters, Flossie R. Burt of Ranburne, Lela McCormick of Heflin, Dura Brown of Blue Mountain, Eunice Blanks of Ranburne and Margaret Stewart of Heflin (all sisters now deceased as of 2018); nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
