Actor, ventriloquist, vaudevillian,(magician, juggler, whistler, impressionist,

In 1930 Max and his wife Maude were living in Anderson, Indiana along with daughter, Maxine & son, Robert Jr.
He was 39 years old at this time and working as a toolmaker at Delco-Remy, General Motors.

Anderson, Indiana June 7, 1973 obituary lists a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Geneva Councellor, who Max visited frequently. (Geneva Councellor's sister, Maude, was the wife of Max.) Survivors mentioned are a son, Robert, a stuntman, a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Wright, both of Cottonwood, Arizona. His wife, the former Maude Cassidy of New Castle, Indiana died a decade ago. (Mrs. Maude Terhune died August 10, 1966 in San Fernando, California. She was born near Somerset, Kentucky.)

Max lived in Anderson, Indiana in the 1920s and worked at Delco Remy Division of General Motors. According to a personal account from my wife's uncle, Max was always cutting up and making people laugh. He once used his voice talents to imitate pigs making their usual loud noises. This was done in a rest room and he sent men scattering in wonder of who let pigs into the rest room.

Max did a radio show with Gene Autrey and left to go to Hollywood in 1932. He was a vaudevillian, (magician, juggler, whistler, impressionist, card tricks. His specialty was ventriloquism using a dummy named Skully Null.
