DANIEL BANKS DEAD
East Side Citizen Dies in Southern California
Daniel Banks, a well-known citizen of the East Side, died at San Diego, Cal., last Friday. The remains will arrive in Portland next Monday, and the funeral will take place under the auspices of Washington lodge, No. 46, A.F. & A. M., of which he had long been a member. Mr. Banks was quite an old resident on the East Side. His health had not been very good for some time, and seven months ago he went to San Diego, Cal., in the hope the change would result beneficially. He leaves two sons and a daughter, the latter was with him at the time of his death.
