Blanche H. Trimble, born February 4, 1921, to Malcome C. Trimble and Mabel Bennett Trimble, passed away September 18, 2010. She graduated from Shawnee High in 1939 as an honor student and art student. During WWII she worked in Denver, CO at DuPont Munitions plant as a tracer bullet inspector. Returning to Oklahoma, she held various office jobs, including at Yellow Transit and S.C. Orbach's. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sibyl Pope and Marjorie Wynns; and one brother, Calvis Trimble. Survivors include one sister, Frances T. McLeod of OKC. Other survivors include 10 nieces and nephews: Pope family nieces, Margaret Akin, Carol Anglin, Cynthia Males, and nephews Judson, Richard, and Jimmy Pope; also nephews, Larry Wynns and Bill Trimble; and nieces, Debbie Fowler and Linda Farmer. Blanche is also survived by many great-great-great- and great-great-great-nieces and nephews. A Baptist, she will have a Christian service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home chapel, with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
