L.O. Brown dies – The funeral of L.O. Bown, who died at his home six miles out on the Hargrove Road Tuesday following a brief illness, was held at Hopewell Church this morning. Interment followed in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was 53 years of age. He was a son of the late Randie Brown, and a brother to N.N. Brown, Fab Brown, Henry Brown, Robison Brown, Pelham Brown and Judge James C. Brown.
He was married 23 years ago to Miss Florence Ward, who, with eight children survives him. The children are: John, Bert, L.O., Walter, Nona, Mary, Florence and Rachel.
