Mrs. Josephine Margaret Arn, 75, wife of Ralph Arn, died Friday afternoon at the Cass County Memorial Hospital. She was a resident of 311 west Fifth.

The daughter of Samuel W. and Margaret Mae Smith Johnston, she was born in Griswold June 25, 1906. The family moved to Atlantic in 1911 and she was graduated from the Atlantic High School in 1924. She attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids and was married to Ralph R. Arn at the Congregational parsonage here Aug. 17, 1930. Mrs. Arn was a member of the United Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph, a resident of the Atlantic Care Center; a daughter, Jo Ellen Arn; a son, Tom Arn both of Atlantic; two grandchildren, Sandy and Rick Arn; a sister, Mildered Saur of Rochester, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. Her parents proceeded her in death, Sgt. Stanford Johnston, who was killed during the invasion of North Africa in 1942.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Roland Funeral Home, with the Rev. Claude Wood of the United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in the Atlantic Cemetery.
