Ole Lotten of Quarry, died at his home there Sunday, aged 78 years. He had been in failing health for several years.
He was born in the town of Eaton and had always lived there and in the point of longevity was perhaps the one who had lived in this town the longest period of time, his parents being some of the first settlers in this township.
He was married twenty years ago to Miss Anette Matson of Shawano County who survives him together with one daughter, Martha, who is a student at Milwaukee Normal and three sons at home. Also four sisters, Mrs. T.G. Larson of Valders, Mrs. Mary Hougen of Wausau, Mrs. R.O. Moon of Wausaukee and Miss Julia of Tacoma, Wash.
His mother, who was the oldest inhabitant in this section preceded him in death about a year ago, aged 96.
