WILLARD B. PEET DIES
Willard B. Peet, 66, died at 4:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at his home, 9 Sylvan. He was born May 18, 1866, in Crawford county, Pennsylvania. Mr. Peet moved to Baldwin in 1870, and a year later moved to a farm four miles north of Neosho Rapids, where he lived for many years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. W. B. Peet; two sons, Ray O. Peet, of Osage City, and Fred A. Peet, of Bozeman, Mont., and also by a step-mother, two half sisters and seven half brothers. Two grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Roberts-Blue chapel. Rev. Claude D. Large, pastor of the First Christian church, will conduct the services. Interment will be in Maplewood cemetery.
