Obituary:
Mrs. Emily Heisler, 75, died at her home in this city on Thursday afternoon of last week, following a long illness.
Mrs. Heisler was born, Emily Schmidmayr, in Chippewa Falls on Oct 31, 1870. In 1896 she went to Chicago, where she was employed and in 1898 she was united in marriage to Henry Heisler. They continued to live in Chicago until 1938, when the moved to this city where they have since resided. Mr. Heisler proceded her in death on Oct 17, 1945, just a month previous to Mrs. Heislers death.
Surving are three sisters and four brothers: Mrs Carrie Cantini and Otto Schmidmayr of Bloomer, Mrs Belle Chase, Cornell, Mrs Edw. Thibedeau, Spooner, Richard and Ben Schmidmayr of Chippewa Falls and Henry of Milwaukee.
Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Catholic church here at 9:00 o'clock Monday morning, with Rev M. Haas officiating. Interment was made in the north Catholic cemetery.
Those present from out of town were the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schmidmayr of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs Richard Schmidmayr and son, Mr. and Mrs. Geo Gebhardt and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Boehm of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thibedeau and son of Spooner, Mr and Mrs. Dell Chase of Cornell.
