Carolyn JoAnn Stonestreet was only 37 years old when she went home to be with the Lord. She passed away from cancer. She was born in Evansville Indiana on November 26, 1972. She was a graduate of North high School and was a member of Fort Branch Weslyan Church. She worked in the banking industry for 6 years and had most recently been employed with TISA. Survivors include Her husband Mike, her children, Nicole and Hunter, Her parents, Carol and Bob Cawhorn, siblings, Bobby Cawhorn and Tonia Ammon, mother-in-law and father-in-law Lynda and Mike Stonestreet Sr., sister-in-law Sharon and her husband Mike Daugherty, four nieces and two nephews. A memorial will be held Friday October 1st at 6 P.M. at Sunset Funeral home. I knew Carolyn only as a cyber friend from two different message boards we were members of, but I feel as though I knew her well. Her love for others and her caring spirit, her deep abiding faith in Jesus shone through always. She will be missed by her many friends and family members. A group of friends were piecing a quilt for her, but sadly she never got to see it as the cancer took her so quickly, so the quilt will be given to her children as a memorial.
