Patsy J. Frost, 75, of 917 Queen Ann Ave. died at 8:49 a.m. Nov. 1, 1984, at St. Josesph Hospital.
She was born Aug. 7, 1909, in Ottumwa to Charles and Kathryn Bissell Allman. She lived in Ottumwa all her life, where she was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was active in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She cooked for many years for the Boy Scout camp. SHe married Dwight E. Frost on Feb. 18, 1956.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Merrily White of Pueblo, Colo., and Polly Canny and Beverly Nelson of Ottumwa; a stepson, James Frost of Clinton; a stepdaughter, Ethel Brehm of Waterloo; and 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Billy Ray DeGrofft.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, the Rev. Wayne Gjerde officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
The family will be at Reece Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
A memorial has been established to her church.
