He was born Oct. 4, 1931 in Independence, Kans., to the late Paul John and Marian Alice Radcliffe Wagner.

After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University, he entered Indiana University, graduating with a Doctorate Degree in Bio-Chemistry. Dr. Wagner served as Professor at Baylor Dental College in Dallas from 1958, until retirement in 1992. In additional to a 33-year-long teaching career, our father was a pianist and organist at numerous churches in Dallas and Athens, and had a life-long love of music, and was a member of American Guild of Organist.

He contributed freely his time and talents in many ways in both communities. He was an active member of his community until death. We wish him and our mother perpetual light, peace and rest.
