Born in the Fair Grove/Bassville area of Greene Co., MO around 1906. Dad said she was never sure of the year but she always knew she was a year older than PaPa (who apparently was never sure what year he was born either). Eunice moved to Tulsa, OK during the late 1920s to attend Business College and here she met Joseph A. BROWN. After they married, they lived in the ArTex Hills and Garland City, just east of Texarkana. During 1936, they moved to Yakima, WA for a brief time where PaPa found work at his brother's cafe/bar. Dad was born during this time in Yakima. The next year Uncle Dave was born in Texarkana.

Eventually the family moved to Eylau and then into Texarkana. Dad and Uncle Dave graduated from Texas High in Texarkana. Dad attended the University of Texas at Austin his junior and senior years and in 1957 during his first summer home he was informed that his parents were getting a divorce. Grandmother always kept her married last name.

She lived the rest of her life just a block south of Texarkana Junior College in the only house I knew her to live in. She loved to fish and play cards. She also seemed to be going on big vacations when I was a kid. She was a very loving grandmother.
