Services for Orpha L. OLDFATHER, 73, who died at 5:42 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Parkview Hospital, Plymouth, following a one-week illness, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at The First Church of God, Rochester.
The Rev. Brice CASEY and Evangelist Leonard JACKSON will officiate. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Foster & Good Funeral Home and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
Mrs. Oldfather was born Sept. 16, 1915 in Madison County to James and Katie RYAN PRATT. She moved to Rochester in 1960 from LaCrosse. In 1970 in Rochester she married Arthur OLDFATHER, who survives. She was a former employee of the Evergreen Restaurant and Hart Schaffner & Marx, and was a member of the First Church of God.
Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Garland (Barbara) WILSON, Kewanna, and Mrs. Walter (Betty) BRADY, Rochester; three sons, Kenneth PFLEDDERER, LaCrosse; Jerry PFLEDDERER, Wanatah, and Jack PFLEDDERET, Rochester; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. Ray (Tina) MANN, Dunnellon, Fla. Mrs. Gladys WHITE, Mrs. Horace (Jean) CASTEEL and Mrs. Joyce LOVELACE, all of Apopka, Fla.; Mrs. Bud (Ada) McCORD, Orestes; Mrs. Ray (Vera) HOFFER, Knox, and Mrs. Leonard (Leona) JACKSON, Plymouth. A sister and five brothers preceded in death.
