FARMINGTON - Carol J. Campbell Colwell, 71, of Empire, Calif., formerly of Farmington, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, Calif.

Born April 30, 1932, in Highland Park, Mich., to Arthur J. and Arneita Filker Campbell, she married Rex U. Colwell. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Vesta Broyles of Galt, Calif., Susan Karrick of Hopkins, Minn., and Donna Fuller of Richardson, Texas; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald Campbell of Farmington.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

She was a homemaker.

Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Tony Severine will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home.
