Tec 5 Eber L. Boden was a member of D Company, 192nd Tank Battalion. He fought in the Philippines during the opening months of the Pacific War. He became a Prisoner of War on April 9, 1942 and took part in the Bataan Death March. He was held at Camp O'Donnell, Cabanatuan, and Bilibid Prison.
He became ill and died while at Bilibid Prison outside Manila.
