William Thomas Harrison was born to parents David Summerfield Harrison and Julia Ann Roberts, January 29, 1874. (Death certificate lists his birth year as 1875 but his headstone lists his birth year as 1874). By the time he was five he was orphaned and raised by Julia Ann Roberts Harrison's father, Captain Andrew Jackson Roberts. William married Mary Frances Burrows in Crawford County, Arkansas on August 16, 1896. They had 9 children, all boys. Mary was the daughter of Reverend John Wesley & Euphema Josephene York Burrows. Euphema was a cousin to Sergeant Alvin York.
