Evansville, Wis., Feb. 11 - Rev. Walter McFarlane died at his residence in this city after a prolonged illness. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, May 2, 1819. Nearly a half century of his life was spent in the ministry, and the last sixteen years he was on the retired list of the Methodist church. He was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellows' lodges. The funeral took place today.
