Mr. Kesler was born September 22, 1908, in Jasper County to Sam and Maggie (Fritschle) Kesler. He married Roellen Kimmel on Aug. 22, 1945 and she survives.
Mr. Kesler was a retired farmer, a member of the First United Methodist Church and an honorary member of the Olney Women's Christian Temperance Union.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Bessie Piper of Olney and Mrs. Charles (Vera) Hanes of Dundas.
Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
